Doug Brown
President/CEO
Doug is the founder and CEO of dB innovative solutions, LLC. Doug received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Doug has over 20 years of experience in research and development in design, testing, and qualification of a wide range of products. Though he has led teams to qualification of unique circuit designs, Doug’s specialty is custom antenna realization. His experience includes interfacing with businesses of all sizes across the country to realize products for an array of research and defense applications. When not working Doug practices Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and enjoys playing sports with his children.
Shara Guzzetta
VP of Operations/Engineering
Shara is the Vice President of dB innovative solutions. Shara received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Shara has over 20 years of experience in Systems Engineering in development and stockpile systems. She has also served as an independent assessor and failure analyst. When not working Shara enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Wes Trousdale
Independent partner/President of Genesis Integrated Systems
Wes is an independent partner contracted to dB innovative solutions LLC. Wes has a BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a MS in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterrey, CA, and lives in Huntsville, AL. Wes is also the owner/operator of Cadillac Ranch in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama.
Reagan Brown
Intern
Reagan Brown is an intern for dB innovative solutions. Reagan is studying engineering at the University of Alabama at Huntsville. Reagan is hoping to transfer to Auburn University in the near future and study Electrical Engineering. When not working or studying Reagan plays the flute in community performances and enjoys reading.
Cassie Smesny
Facility Security Officer
Cassie is the Facility Security Officer for dB innovative solutions, LLC. After receiving her BA in Criminal Justice, she had a long career in Industrial Security occupying multiple positions in Personnel Security and Security Education before taking on her current role as FSO with dBis LLC. Cassie is also the Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Organization at her son’s elementary school, as well as the Event Coordinator for her neighborhood homeowner’s association. When she’s not performing FSO duties or planning events, Cassie enjoys playing board games, watching movies, and taking walks with her family.
Jennifer Davis
Project Management/Technical Editor/Data Analyst
Jenn is the lead Business Professional at dB innovative solutions, LLC. Jennifer has over 20 years’ experience as a strategic planning consultant, technical writer, project management specialist and data analyst. She is well versed in organizational development and growth and strategic level modeling and operations optimization. Jennifer graduated from New Mexico State University Summa Cum Laude with a BBA in Business Management and a BA in Psychology with emphases in Production Operations Management and Strategic Planning. She has worked on projects for various national laboratories, three letter agencies, as well as several non-profit organizations. When she is not working, Jennifer spends her spare time running her small ranch with her husband and children.
Grace Davis
Web Design/Technical Writer/Administrative Assistant
Grace is the web designer and social media administrator for dBis LLC. Grace has created several websites for non-profits and is currently the social media chair for a local dressage chapter. Her writing and communication skills have assisted many organizations including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Grace is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs on full ride scholarship. In her spare time, Grace competes with her two horses in dressage in USDF Region 5.
